Our hotel is committed to ensuring environmentally responsible management and limiting the impact of its activities on the environment.

Respect for the environment is an essential component of our company's mission. All our staff members carry out their duties in accordance with the procedures and environmental policy in force within our establishment.

The Verviers Van der Valk Hotel complies with environmental legislation and the requirements applicable in the Walloon Region, but we want to go further. We use several environmentally friendly techniques such as waste sorting, sorting our food waste to create biogas, geothermal energy, etc.

We also monitor water and energy consumption within our establishment to continually improve our infrastructure and equipment and ensure more efficient management based on this data.

We are committed to reducing our waste production and limiting our impact on air, water, and soil as part of our environmental policy, thanks to an effective management system. We train our staff and raise awareness among our guests so they can contribute to respecting the environment.
