High Fens

Protected since 1957, 5,000 hectares of open peat bogs in the High Fens are not only the oldest nature reserve in Wallonia, they are also by far the most famous nature reserve south of the language border. In terms of beauty and ecological value, they are often not inferior to the well-known top tourist destinations.
